The School that changed my career path
I attended The Leo Marchutz School of Painting & Drawing in my early 20’s. At that time, I had a BFA in Design, painting & printmaking, and was off to graduate school for Design. But then I attend the Leo Marchutz School, in which I fell in love with painting, After a successful design career, I returned to my true love, painting.
The school invited me for an artist talk that took place on August 28th. Here I shared pivotal points in my art career and how the school has influenced my art over these past 30 years. I hope you enjoy. Please feel free to share.
L'école qui a changé ma carrière
J'ai fréquenté l'école de peinture et de dessin Leo Marchutz au début de la vingtaine. À l'époque, j'étais titulaire d'une licence en beaux-arts (BFA) en design, peinture et gravure, et j'allais poursuivre mes études supérieures en design. C'est alors que j'ai intégré l'école Leo Marchutz, où je suis tombée amoureuse de la peinture. Après une brillante carrière de designer, je suis revenue à ma véritable passion : la peinture.
L'école m'a invitée à une conférence d'artiste le 28 août. J'y ai partagé les moments clés de ma carrière artistique et l'influence de l'école sur mon art au cours de ces 30 dernières années. J'espère que vous apprécierez. N'hésitez pas à partager.
