"Found Meditations" are inspired by Silve’s morning walks through Portland neighborhoods. She appreciates the color of a particular flower, the morning fog, or the startling rush of coming upon an urban coyote. Also inspired by the sculptures of John Chamberlain after viewing his retrospective at the Guggenheim. She focuses on combining these Portland inspirations in a similar way to Chamberlain combining metal.
